Tailored to your curriculum or group aims, we offer 2 or 4 hour visits. Fully risk assessed and run by Emily, an experienced outdoor educator.

Are you a farm cluster, agricultural or other land steward linked organisation? We can host groups on a farm tour looking at the past and present land management here.
Adult Groups & Organisations

Are you a local organisation looking for enjoyable and informative visits? We can lead farm walks at Hodore, sharing our history and landscape, exploring themes of food, farming and countryside management.

How much do farm visits cost?
We are funded to provide farm visits and walks. There is no cost to the groups visiting.
Groups to arrange and pay for their own transport.
Is parking available?
We have a large car parking space available for cars, minibuses and coaches to park for the day.
Is the farm accessible?
We will tailor the visits to suit the needs of your group.
What facilities are available ar the farm?
We have undercover space for lunch / snack time and compost / indoor toilets, plus
handwashing available.

Have you done risk assessment for farm visits?
This is a working farm and safety of your group is essential. We provide a full briefing at the beginning of all visits. Good clothing and footwear suitable for the weather and terrain are advised!
We have a comprehensive risk assessment that is reviewed annually. We ask that groups attend a pre visit when we can discuss anything specific to your group.
